Our journey is one of transformation, resilience, and unwavering commitment to fostering positive change within Tanzania’s agricultural landscape. Since our establishment, we have harnessed our expertise and resources to directly impact the lives of smallholder farmers across the nation.

Through strategic outreach, innovative solutions, and dedicated efforts, we have achieved remarkable success in improving livelihoods, enhancing food security, and contributing to the growth of rural communities.

This page illuminates our scope of work, outlining the depth of our outreach, the breadth of our impact, and the inspiring success stories that have emerged from our endeavors.

a) Reaching Smallholder Farmers Directly

Since its establishment until 2023, Twins AGROVET AND GENERAL SUPPLY INVESTMENT has made significant strides in reaching smallholder farmers across various agribusiness areas. Our efforts have been particularly impactful in districts like Kilindi, Mkinga (Tanga), Mlimba, Mvomero, and Malinyi (Morogoro), as well as in the Pwani region. We have supplied critical vaccines and inputs, including CBPP, LSD, PPR, and CCPP, to thousands of cattle and shoats. Specifically, we have supplied vaccines and services to 46,000 cattle and 9,036 shoats in Kilindi and Mkinga districts, and 33,000 cattle in Mlimba, 42,000 cattle in Mvomero, and 56,000 cattle in Malinyi.

b) Cost-Effective Outreach

Our outreach strategy focuses on both individual and village-based approaches, allowing us to efficiently reach a large number of smallholder farmers across diverse geographical areas. This approach enables us to minimize costs while maximizing impact, resulting in widespread engagement and intervention within a short period.

c) Breadth of Outreach

TWINS AGROVET AND GENERAL SUPPLY INVESTMENT has embraced an expansive outreach strategy to rapidly connect with numerous smallholder farmers. By extending our reach to various communities, we contribute to enhancing agricultural productivity and lifting the nation from a cycle of poor and low agricultural yields.

Overall Impact

Our ultimate goal is to empower target smallholder farmers by enhancing their income levels, food security, and agricultural knowledge. Through our interventions, we aim to enable farmers to meet their needs and aspirations, fostering sustainable growth and development.
